We believe that if something needs explaining, then it's too complicated. You'll find you can use PagePlay without learning any new skills at all. If you can use the web, you'll be fine.
It passed the simplicity test...
Whilst developing PagePlay we needed some way of checking we weren't simply kidding ourselves about how easy to use PagePlay was. We devised a simplicity test. If our family and friends could use it without guidance then anyone could!
Whilst that may sound mean - we think you should hear us out. Our family and friends are intelligent and could learn more complex systems than PagePlay if they wanted to. The key thing we were looking for was whether they would take to it without the need for painfully long explanation and training. Would they get it and hit the ground running? Could they create great content without our input?
They did! And we were very relieved.
Design a tool which is so easy to use, and so robust, that people hardly ever need to ask for support.
Not rocket science eh? We still offer customer support, and of the many people signed up for PagePlay, we still receive very few support requests. Those enails are usually suggestions for future features!
We took a risk and bet that PagePlay would be so easy we wouldn’t be swamped by customer support requests - and it paid off.
