Set up email in Outlook 2003

This tutorial shows you how to set up Microsoft Outlook 2003® to work with your e-mail account. This tutorial focuses on setting up Microsoft Outlook 2003, but these settings are similar in other versions of Microsoft Outlook. You can set up previous versions of Microsoft Outlook by using the settings in this tutorial.

1. In Microsoft Outlook, from the Tools menu, select E-mail Accounts.

2. On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.

3. For your server type, select IMAP, and then click Next.

4. On the Internet E-mail Settings (IMAP) window, enter your information as follows:

Your Name: Your emails will appear from this name
Email Address: Your PagePlay email address
User Name: Your PagePlay email address
Password: The password for your PagePlay email account
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.pageplay.com
Incoming mail server (IMAP): mail.pageplay.com

5. Click More Settings

6. On the Internet E-mail Settings window, select the Outgoing Server tab

7. Check the box for 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication'

8. Click OK

9. Click Next

10. Click Finish
